eViewer includes a range of accessibility features to ensure it is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
Perceivable
eViewer provides an accessible user interface that is adaptable to various devices and screen sizes, whether through a desktop, tablet, or mobile device. We’ve implemented a high contrast between the foreground colors and the background, making sure that every element on the screen is distinct and legible. We’ve equipped all our function icons with tooltips that offer concise and clear descriptions of each icon’s functionality.
Operable
Navigating and interacting with documents is seamless with keyboard shortcuts without relying solely on a mouse. eViewer ensures digital content adapts seamlessly to different device screen sizes and orientations. Usability on touchscreens allows a broader range of users to effortlessly navigate and interact with the application regardless of their physical abilities or limitations.
Understandable
eViewer provides self-explanatory icons that utilize intuitive visual symbols to convey functions or actions without solely relying on text labels. With customizable tooltips, you can personalize the information provided when hovering over buttons or icons. This enhances comprehension, reducing confusion for those who might struggle with standard tooltip descriptions.
Text to Speech
Text-to-speech enables visually impaired individuals to engage with written content by translating it into speech sound. eViewer provides users with a greater level of accessibility to documents by vocally transcribing text on the document. With intuitive speech controls, users have the ability to “play”, “stop”, and “pause” the reading of the document text. eViewer analyzes the text, and then generates natural speech with proper pronunciation that is broadcasted through the workstation’s speakers, headphones, or other connected devices.
Closed Captions
eViewer can display the text of spoken video content which is beneficial for the deaf, hard of hearing, and language learners. eViewer provides a synchronized transcript of dialogue, sounds, and important audio cues. These captions enhance accessibility and comprehension, making video content inclusive and understandable to a wider audience.
